For the last few chapters coming throughhh! so for another 3 more chapters. Let's comment about it! :)

In chapter 10 and 11, I was absent due to a lack of sleep the night before. I had a presentation on the morning and I stayed up to finish the slides. I'm sorry to my lecturer as I can't attend on our last meeting as I feel so weak. I just go through the slides for these two chapters and i must say i can't understand anything at all and what attract me the most is the BULLWHIP effects! Know why? Cause it reminds me of Stewie in the family guy.

See what I mean? hehe :P

So bullwhip effect actually occurs when distorted product demand information passes from one entity to the next throughout the supply chain. Normally in this chapter talks about SCM and I didnt study much to write about it.

See, let's move on to proceed with more chapters okay?

Chapter 6 : Everything and everywhere is talking about information. Do you know what information really means? Well in IT also have information and by learning IT I am able to know the real meaning of information. Information are obtain by level, present by formats and differentiated by granulities. Besides info also has its own characteristics to show it is a quality info. Quality information must be accurate, timeliness, uniqueness and many more.

Chapter 7 is about where to store our valuable things. So where? In a saving box? Or a room with lotsa keys? In context of IT, place to store the information regardless what info in terms of any entity is called DATABASE. In a database it can store many information about various types of objects (inventory), events (transactions), people (employees), and places (warehouses). 

What I understands in this chapter is data warehouse consist of datamart and the process of transferring the data called ETL. ETL also transforms the information using a common set of enterprise definitions, and loads the information into a data warehouse. Similarly like us, a data warehouse need to be scrub and clean. It is to ensure that all the unwanted information or data is dispose from the system.

Last chapter of the day would comment on how to make decision? It is the toughest part of everything I must say. So for this, decisions must be made quickly and people need to analyze whether the info is large or vice versa. Decision making is important in organisation as if we decides wrongly, it would leave us with a high impact and could make us fall too.

Seri Kenangan, Cheng.

So, this is the place. A place where the old folks are abandoned and being ignored by their family whom is said to be so busy with works. This is the road I took every time I went to Malacca town and I never thought to actually be here to join the community programme organized by MINDS Club, Dip of Insurance UiTM Malacca. 

It's a great thing to join the programme because now I'm aware of what they feel. Feel to be abandoned and ignored. I did hear some of the stories which never failed to make each one of us burst into tears. Some are  volunteered and some are being sent by their own family, their own flesh and blood. Could you imagine? How cruel a people can be nowadays. Sending their own parents at the old folks home without thinking of they are the one who taking care of us since we were a child. Without them, it will be no us.

Since we can't snap any of the picture while visiting them in the ward, here are some pictures of us before leaving the Rumah Seri Kenangan. 

And I still shed a tear.

Reminiscing about you is killing me. Maybe some said I'm healed. Well, obviously I'm not. We all not. Daily activity had totally changed. Normally you're the one who always pampered us with delicious meal, the one who gave permissions fr cats to be in the house, the superwoman who can do almost everything and the one who we love the most. You left us, on July 17, 2011.

Its been a year 2 months and the worst time I've been through is every time when I take the bus to Malacca. I still remember the last hug I gave you and said "Makan banyak banyak sikit" and you just smiled. Every single time if I'm in the bus from AS to MLK, I'll cry. I saw you smiling at me each time I closed my eyes. Never miss.

Feels like yesterday you still here with me. Laughing and do all the kitchen stuff. I know you suffer in agony for few months and I thanked it ends even now we suffer from losing you. 

We miss you much. Al-Fatihah. And I still shed a tear.

Mother of all animal.

Today's post will be on pets. Well as many has concerned, I lalalaloveeee animal to the max and some did called me the mother of all animal. Presenting my new baby glider, Casper :)

This one is totally different from my other child. The old Casper. I love you baby. Please be nice to mummy! :P

Pheww, a sound of relief when i had the chance to actually blog after a while. So for now, leggo with chapter 3, chapter 4 and chapter 5 of information technology shall we? Where should i start to comment about these 3 chapters?

In chapter 3, I finally understand on how strategic initiatives help us in our daily lives. Not ours really but in business. So now I know how Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Business Process Re-engineering and Enterprise Resource Planning works. No, not really. I don't EXACTLY understands all. Because we really did this in class. 

But only for those 2 days. Sorry miss, can't stand the eyes and to fight over IT class at 4.30 till 6.30.

Now, move on to chapter 4. In this chapter, it just tell us how the effective and efficient IT is. What really catches my attention in this chapter, from the number of mouse click, amount of time it takes to go to the webpage and etc, it tell us how good and efficient a website runs. Not much on chapter 4 right? Yeah, IT is simple but I make it hard. *Sighhhhhh

Last chapterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, who are those the one in responsible in IT? chapter five says it all. They are CIO, CTO, CSO, CPO and CKO. These are all the people behind all the IT's. Last but not least, the ethics of IT. And now only i know the meaning of copyright, counterfeit and etc. 

Well I guess that's all for now. Need to hit the sack, GTG!
